Unexpected Texas is featured on Victoria’s Reading Alcove today
Welcome to Day 4 of the #UnexTex Unexpected Texas Book Release Blog Tour for my quirky travel guide Unexpected Texas. It’s now on sale as a paperback and ebook on Amazon. Whoop w00t!
Today, my book is featured at Victoria’s Reading Alcove. Victoria is a deep-thinking accountant who not only reads voraciously, but takes the time to analyze and digest what she reads. In a recent blog post entitled Time Warps and Other Voyages of the Mind she compares accounting to time travel. I’ve gotten to know Victoria mainly through Facebook. Her posts are the kind that snag my mind and keep me reading when I should be doing something else… or should I?
Day 4 #UnexTex Prizes
Since Victoria loves history, I decided to share an excerpt from Unexpected Texas with a bit of history in it:
The prizes I’m offering on her day are: a paperback copy of Unexpected Texas, an Unexpected Texas notebook, and a bag of sea salt caramel dark chocolates. Yum! The sea salt is a nod to the ancient sea which provides North Texas with high-quality salt reserves which are mined by the Morton Salt Company today, and from which the Salt Palace in the town of Grand Saline was built.
