Tui Snider: Presentation topics

Tui Snider loves to share with audiences!

Tui Snider loves to share with audiences!

Tui Snider is an inquisitive world traveler who loves sharing with audiences in an informative and lighthearted way.

Tui is able to speak on a variety of topics, including:

Understanding Cemetery Symbols
This is Tui’s most requested presentation: Whether you are a genealogist, historian, ghost hunter, or curiosity seeker, this photo-laden presentation reveals the forgotten meaning behind historic cemetery symbols. (This presentation was originally created for the Granbury Paranormal Expo. Tui has since released a best-selling book on the subject: Understanding Cemetery Symbols.)

Paranormal Texas
Tui Snider highlights the paranormal hotspots and haunted lore of the Dallas – Fort Worth region for those seeking spooky road trip destinations in North Texas. Her presentation focuses on the true history behind the tales. (This presentation was created by request of the Grand Prairie Public Library in response to her best-selling book, Paranormal Texas.)

The Great Texas Airship Mystery of 1897 – How did the Public React?
In the spring of 1897, hundreds of airships were sighted over the skies of Texas. But what were Texans really thinking during this time? Tui Snider scoured the newspapers from that two-month time period to reveal the many different theories and reactions people had to the mysterious objects in their skies. Along the way, she made surprising discoveries! (This presentation was created by request of the 2016 Aurora Alien Encounter UFO Festival. Tui gave an updated version of this talk at the 2019 International UFO Congress, and will soon be releasing a book on the topic.)

Custom presentations

With enough advance notice, Tui Snider is happy  to create a custom presentation for your audience based on any of her books and other specialties – just ask! (The video at the top of this post is an example of a custom presentation.)

Testimonials for Tui Snider

Here’s what others are saying about Tui Snider:

“When I began serving as curator at the Oakwood Cemetery Chapel in Austin, Texas in 2019… I started reading Tui Snider’s book on monument symbols, and it became a trusted resource… We hired her to come tour our cemetery and filmed her interpretation of military headstones. This video is an incredible resource for anyone wanting to learn about military symbolism on monuments, as well as a great delight discovering some gems we did not know enough about. I look forward to working with Tui again–she is amazing.”
