Wow! Where to begin? I’m pretty overwhelmed, but in a good way. For starters, my Kickstarter Project was fully funded!!! I hated asking for financial help, and it was a really close call, but a few angel supporters swooped in at the last minute and pushed my campaign over the edge. (And yes, I learned a lot from running that campaign, but that’s a topic for a future blog post.)
Major Heartfelt Thank You!
Right now my main goal is to offer a hearty THANK YOU!!! to all 24 peoplewho contributed to my Kickstarter:
Brian Treybig
Patricia Lynne
Linda Neas
Bambi Harris
Cook Street Publishing
Alycia Forbes
Andrew Hoenninger
Lori Reynolds
Sharon Furrer
Ghost Cat
Franklin
Naomi Morlan
Joy Daley
Jimm McIver
Gail Bray
MAC
Deb Atwood
Jamie Mose
Sheila Copeland
Teal Gray
Vicky Newby
Hugh
Georgina Holzmeier
Alicia Gaby
.
Of course, I’m also grateful to everyone who contributed by helping to spread the word either by telling their friends or by sharing my posts on Twitter and Facebook. I would not have succeeded without this word of mouth help!
What’s next?
I’m working like crazy to get the book, notecards and calendars created. It will take a couple of weeks to get them back from the printer. While I’m waiting, I’ll get my photography exhibit figured out. Also, once I’ve placed those print orders, I will contact all my Kickstarter donors to get your snail mail addresses and to firm up the details of your order. All donors will receive items they pre-ordered from me (CD’s, books, calendars, notebooks, etc) as soon as possible.
You can hear 30 second song samples from my album, “Come to My Senses,” in the player below. And, please, if my music reminds you of another artist, or you have input about its genre, let me know by leaving a comment on this post.
Also, if you like my tunes, please take a moment to leave a review on CD Baby. It would really mean a lot to me. So far, one person has left a review. Click here to read it! (It’s at the bottom of the page.)
