#LangdonReview #VisitGranbury Come to My Senses – a dream pop debut by Tui Snider

Album inspired by the Langdon Review For today’s update, I wanted to briefly touch on my music. My debut album is called “Come to My Senses” and features 10 original songs that I wrote and performed using mostly guitar, clarinet, flute, and synthesizers. This album was inspired by my writing residency in Granbury, Texas for the Langdon Review. I’m no good at figuring out genres, but listeners tell me it’s: mystical, ethereal, dream pop, folk, folktronica.  What do you think? Take a listen and tell me in a comment below. Meme, Myself & iPhone For today’s update, I wanted to briefly describe Meme, Myself & iPhone, which is a little book inspired by my upcoming writing residency for the Langdon Review. It showcases 12 of my favorite iPhone photos as well as the lyrics to my debut dream pop album, “Come to My Senses.” I also briefly reveal the story behind each song and photo. I’m keeping today’s update short. The graphic below explains my book in more detail. If you have any questions or comments, leave a comment below! #LangdonReview #VisitGranbury Travel, Texture & Angels – Photo Exhibit

First ever photography exhibit! I’m having a month-long photography show in conjunction with my writing residency for the Langdon Review. Although my photos have been published in various places (including this poetry book) over the years, this is my first-ever, print-them-out-and-hang-them-on-the-wall photography exhibit. Not only am I super excited, but this show really means a lot to me; however, I’ll get into that in another post! [This post is part of a series of daily updates as the 2016 Writer-in-Residence for the Langdon Review. If you missed a day, or this is your first time here, click here to see the…

#LangdonReview #VisitGranbury Countdown to my Writing Residency in Granbury, Texas!

Daily updates on my blog My husband teases me because when I’m excited about a trip, I often pack my suitcase a week in advance. In a similar vein, I am so darn excited about my upcoming writing residency for the Langdon Review, I decided to post daily updates about it right here on my blog. I thought I was going to wait until I was actually in Granbury, but apparently that’s not how I roll! I will continue posting once a day throughout my residency. What is this residency? The Langdon Review Weekend is an amazing annual literary conference, and I am super…

Thanks for Pushing Me Over the Edge!

Phew! Wow! Where to begin? I’m pretty overwhelmed, but in a good way.  For starters, my Kickstarter Project was fully funded!!! I hated asking for financial help, and it was a really close call, but a few angel supporters swooped in at the last minute and pushed my campaign over the edge.  (And yes, I learned a lot from running that campaign, but that’s a topic for a future blog post.)   Major Heartfelt Thank You! Right now my main goal is to offer a hearty THANK YOU!!! to all 24 people who contributed to my Kickstarter: Brian Treybig Patricia Lynne…
