Creative Residency
The Langdon Review Weekend is an amazing annual literary conference, and I am super thrilled and honored to be their resident writer (and photographer!) this year. My residency starts on August 27th. I’ll be staying in the gorgeous historic town of Granbury, Texas through September 10th with the sole purpose of creating and reaching out to the community, both in person and online. (Click here to read a blog post about last year’s Langdon Review Weekend.)
Mixed Media show for Granbury’s Gallery Night
The residency kicks off this Saturday, August 27th. Squeee! I’m having a mixed media show that evening from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Dora Lee Langdon Center in conjunction with the Last Saturday Gallery Night in Granbury, Texas. By “mixed media” I mean that I’m showing photos, releasing a CD of my own original music, and also celebrating a companion book that I created for the CD and photos, called Meme, Myself & iPhone.
You’re all invited: in person & online!
Even if you can’t attend in person, I invite you to accept my invitation because I will be sharing photos and updates at the Facebook event page before, during and after the event. (Did I already mention that I’m insanely excited?!?) You can see details for how to attend, either in person or online, by clicking here: Tui Snider’s Photo Exhibit – Book Release Music CD Party.
Fun stuff planned!
While I’m sure there will be some surprises along the way as well as some quiet and reclusive writing/photography/music days, I have some fun things planned during my stay, including a paranormal investigation with Greg Stephens of TxRIP, and a photowalk through Granbury’s historic town square. Stay tuned!
