Embracing my Dork Side

Call me cheesy, but I just had to get the cliche photo where it looks like I’m holding up the Leaning Tower of Pisa when we visited Italy last year. I like how the photo came out so that it kinda looks like there’s a wee little guy picking my pocket, or holding *me* up, too.

Have you ever indulged in taking cheesy tourist photos of yourself? I say, why not? If it makes you smile, then so what? Embrace your dork side!

  1. Argh, so jealous! I must get to Italy.

When I went to Mexico with a friend, she was wild about the selfies. So I definitely have a lot of cheesy photos from that trip!

  2. The timing of you and that tiny guy in the photo is awesome! hahah!

  3. LOve it! Always embrace the dork side – love that too.
We took a picture at Chimney Rock like we were measuring as tall as it…hard to visualize, you’ll have to trust me. :)

  4. That’s a great photo! I hadn’t even noticed the wee man till you pointed him out.

  5. Taking cheesy photos at tourist attractions are the best kind to take. I have a bunch from sunrise at the Grand Canyon of me ‘holding’ the sun.

Hope you’re having fun with the A to Z challenge,
    Jocelyn
