Haunted Historic Hotels
Staying at hotels and motels is an exciting part of any road trip. And some of the most interesting hotels I’ve stayed at have boasted guests who never checked out! Here are a few of my favorite historic haunted hotels in Texas:
Miss Molly’s Hotel in Fort Worth
Beckham Hotel in Mineola
Baker Hotel & Crazy Water Hotel in Mineral Wells

I think there was a B&B in Jefferson that was supposedly haunted but I’m not sure if it’s still around. The Baker is very impressive for such a rural town.
These are wonderful photos and snippets. I’m especially drawn to the Baker Hotel. Your picture of that hotel is so evocative! Oh, that sad little chair…
What an exciting post! Makes me want to visit each of these hotels. who knows maybe I will. Thanks for sharing. @sheilamgood at Cow Pasture Chronicles
Hey, Sheila! I hope you get to visit all these hotels. If you do, let me know how it goes for you! Thanks for stopping by! :D
Now you MUST go stay a night at the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, AR. And don’t forget the Ghost Tour of the hotel. Lovely place!!! Only an 8 hour drive from Azle!! You’ll thank me..,
Oh, gosh! I really want to. Maybe later this year. It’s on my to-do list, for sure! Thanks! And thanks for stopping by! :D
Don’t remind me that hotels may be haunted! One time I was looking into a place to stay and B&Bs and I kept thinking “what if there’s a ghost????” I’m too big of a wuss for spending the night with one. LOL
Hehe! Must admit that I feel braver when my hubby is with me. There was one B&B I researched that I chickened out on staying at because the resident ghost only appears when women stay by themselves! Thanks for stopping by! :D
