Since I love encouraging others so much, I’m sharing Creative Encouragement Memes for this year’s A to Z Blog Challenge. The quotes are from all over, but I took each photo with my iPhone. Here’s today’s featured letter:
J is for Just Keep Going
“It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.” – Confucius
I like this quote because it’s so simple and obvious and yet, if you slow down and roll it around in your mind it can stir up a lot of feelings. For instance, in my case it stirs up thoughts about deadlines, missed opportunities, piling my plate too high, feeling rushed to create, not enjoying the process, and comparing my creative progress to others.
Pretty good for a wee little quote by some ancient dude! Guess that’s why we still quote Confucius in the 21st century…

I’ve always been a pretty slow person for the most part–I like to think things out if I can. When the time calls for moving fast then I can usually manage well and come up with quick solutions to problems. But it’s nice to enjoy the scenery and absorb life as much as one can.

This quote reminds me of one of my favorite poems.

I love your theme for this year! :) And this quote is especially important. I tend to think I am not doing enough, or advancing fast enough. Good to remember progress is progress :)
