Here’s a simple idea that’s fun to do whether you plan to ring in the New Year at a wild party or at a small gathering at home: Ask people you know what they predict for the upcoming year. When my step-daughter was growing up, our New Year’s Eve tradition was to make predictions for the upcoming year.
