I have less than half an hour to get my NaBloPoMo post up, or else I’ll turn into a Nablo-pumpkin. Funny how the lighting looks so autumnal in today’s shot. It was well over 100 degrees the day we visited that garden shop.
Last night, we saw Cirque de la Symphonie in Fort Worth. I posted a review over at iStopover.com Magazine, in case you want to know more about it. Here’s the short version: it was fun!
Tonight, we checked out the after hours event at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. It was an Egyptian-themed evening, with wine tasting, live music and hands on fun for us ‘kids’ 18 and over. Speaking of reviews, I recently posted an article about Lost Egypt: Ancient Secrets, Modern Science, too. What I like about this particular museum exhibit is that it left me wanting to learn more about ancient Egypt. They did a great job of piquing my interest.
I bought some local honey with the comb-in at the museum tonight. The Texas Honey Guild had a booth set up with all sorts of bee-related goodies. Yummy, blackberry honey. Love that stuff! In fact, as midnight draws nigh, I think I’ll go fix myself a mug of ginger tea with fresh honey as a nightcap. See y’all tomorrow!
