Do you love postcards, too?
I love getting postcards from friends. If they’re funny or interesting, I either tack ’em to the wall for travel inspiration or I use them for bookmarks. Plus, it’s such a pleasant surprise to get something in the mail besides a bill – and to see someone’s actual handwriting!
So, here’s the deal: I’m taking a writing research trip soon and would be delighted to send some postcards to friends along the way. Any takers?
How to get a postcard
If you’d like a quirky postcard from my upcoming road trip, all you have to do is take two simple steps:
1. Sign up for my newsletter (there’s a form at the bottom of this post.) Of course, if you’ve already signed up, then you’re halfway there!
2. Next, email me at: TuiSnider@gmail.com. Please put something like “road trip postcard” in your subject line so I can find it easily. (Remember to include your snail mail so I can make address labels before I go.)
That’s all there is to it! I’ll send postcards to the first 20 people to request one this way.
Writing Research Road Trip Itinerary
Book Signing in Lawton, OK
First stop, Oklahoma! In fact, if you live near Lawton, drop by and say hi to me and my husband this Saturday, November 22, 2014. I will be talking about both of my books (Unexpected Texas and Paranormal Texas) from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at a cool indie bookstore called Books and Banter.
Aliens, Geronimo, & who knows?
After that, the hubby and I will be traipsing around on a writing research road trip. I haven’t planned our full itinerary, but so far it looks like we will be visiting Geronimo’s grave, and Roswell, New Mexico.
Also, since Christmas is around the corner, I need to get some photos of the rope that was used to lynch Santa Claus.
Beyond that… who knows? I’m so excited!
